Santa's DURHAM Warehouse is located at the Village Union Public School is located at 155 Gibb Street, Oshawa, L1J 1Y4. In the parking lot, go straight down towards the back of the school, towards the brightly coloured doors on your left hand side that say ‘MAKE A DIFFERENCE’
Santa's Warehouse Elves
Volunteer Description:
Do you love the holiday season? Do you want to help our cause of delivering poverty relief packages to low income families?
- Receiving donations
- Sorting and logging each donation
- Getting packages ready for delivery
- Sorting toy drives and ensuring the items get into packages
- Calling families to arrange their curbside delivery
Requirements:
- All children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult (one child to one adult)
The tasks vary by day so be flexible and help out where ever needed.
Santa's Delivery Elves
Volunteer Description:
- There's nothing more gratifying than delivering Christmas joy to a family in need. This year, we are doing curbside deliveries for our families that don't have access to a vehicle and can't pick up their package.
Requirements:
- Often drivers can only deliver one package at one time due to the size of the packages
- For safety reasons, we require 2 people to one car (Only sign up for one spot. One car = one spot)
- We can't take requests to deliver to a specific areas
- Please ensure your vehicle is free of hockey bags, golf clubs, car seats, etc.
