Some thank-you letters stay with us forever! ❤️ T Some thank-you letters stay with us forever! ❤️ This one came from Emily, a single mom of four, after her family was sponsored through Holiday Helpers. “I don’t think I will ever find the right words to fully express what you gave us this Christmas. But I want to try. When the couple arrived to drop off the gifts and I saw the boxes, I was completely shocked. I held it together until they left, and then I cried like a baby, out of deep gratitude. It was one of those moments where kindness hits you so hard it takes your breath away.” On Christmas morning, her children woke up to gifts chosen just for them, but what surprised Emily most was that someone had thought of her, too. “As a mom, it’s so easy to pour everything into your children and forget yourself, so to be remembered in that way meant more than I can say. It felt so comforting and validating to receive something thoughtful just for me. You didn’t just give gifts, you gave us a feeling of warmth, safety, and being seen.” To every sponsor, donor, volunteer, and supporter, thank you. Because of you, families experience more than a joyful Christmas morning. It is about creating special moments, building traditions, and making memories together. ❤️ At Holiday Helpers, every sponsored family receives not only gifts and essentials, but also a Christmas tree and decorations to help create a festive holiday season at home. For many families, especially newcomers to Canada, these traditions can be difficult to access during financially challenging times. One family shared: “We are a family of immigrants living alone in this country, and knowing that someone took the time to prepare something for us was the most wonderful thing that has happened to us.” Stories like this remind us that the impact of Holiday Helpers goes far beyond the gifts themselves. Holiday Helpers Canada is a registered charity whose mission is to provide a one-time Christmas package to low income families with young children who are trying to improve their situation.

The customized gift packages bring families joy, encouragement, and provide necessary poverty relief.
