Every year, Holiday Helpers Canada shares the spirit of Christmas by delivering poverty relief packages for low income families throughout the GTA.
This year, the need is greater than ever and we need your support. Our low-income families have been disproportionately hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

When you donate to Holiday Helpers Canada, your donation goes to purchase much needed items for families in need, including:

- warm blankets and household items
- grocery gift cards
- artificial Christmas tree and decorations

Meet Youssouf, “Look at all the presents, Mom!”, Youssouf screamed. Laurie is a single mom, raising three children and recovering from breast cancer. Through Holiday Helpers, Laurie and her family were provided with a full poverty relief package, including winter coats, presents, essential houseware items like blankets, a grocery gift card, and an artificial Christmas tree. Just a year earlier, the family lived in a shelter, and all their belongings were stolen. Laurie told us,” we were devastated, but because of your generosity, our stolen items were replaced, and my children had the best Christmas of their lives.”
Meet Isabelle. Isabelle's mom is a single mom with 2 children. She wrote, "Thank you so much for everything you did for us. I was truly speechless and had tears in my eyes seeing everything for my children. Words cannot describe how happy you made us. This was the first Christmas I did not have to worry about disappointing my kids or telling them how Santa missed our house. You have made such a difference to us and I will be forever grateful. I hope the upmost best for you and thank yo again for giving us the best Christmas ever!"
Meet Michelle. Michelle's mom wrote a thank you letter to say, “We needed you and you were there. Your kindness and consideration made me understand the importance of giving to those in need and motivated my family to give to, even when we have only a little. I can't begin to express what your generosity means to my family. You made us feel the spirit of Christmas and made this year better than last year. It was a lot of fun unwrapping the gifts. Thank you!”
