We’re Growing Our Board of Directors

We’re growing! And we’re looking for volunteers to join our board of directors.

You’re probably aware that Holiday Helpers has helped make the holidays brighter for thousands of families since we started in Toronto in 2004. Over the past several years we have expanded the scope of our program to serve families in Hamilton as well as Durham and our intention is to continue to grow to serve even more families in more locations.

To do that, we need to expand our organization and our volunteer Board of Directors.

Given the nature of our organization we are in need of some specialized skills on our board. Experience in the charitable sector and/or a background in logistics, finance, law, management or human resources would be especially helpful. Having said that, we welcome invitations from everyone who is interested.

We’re hoping to find a few new board members to join us in our mission: “to provide a one-time personalized Christmas package to families with young children living in low-income situations who are trying to improve their circumstances”.
